4-year-old uses ‘the Force’ to fight cancer

May 30, 2017 By Rita M

Whenever a child gets sick it’s sad no matter what but we can triumph when they fight it. This child is only four and is doing just that in a great way. Star Wars has an impact on this child. That is good to see because it gives a reason to be strong.

Key Takeaways:

  • Fighting cancer as a child is hard. Parents look for anything to calm their child.
  • Collin had good days and bad days in his battle with cancer . He had a barrage of treatments the took up his time.
  • Star wars calmed Collin on his journey. It took on a life of its own as time passed.

“Over those four days in the hospital, his parents kept showing Callan the trailer every time needles were involved.”
