Research is showing a correlation between a person’s IQ and their diet. In a survey of over 8000 participants, researchers have found that participants who are vegetarian tend to have a 10% higher IQ level than people who eat red meat. A higher IQ was also found in vegetarian people who still eat chicken or fish. The study goes on to say that a factor in this can be explained by social status and education. Higher social classes are more likely to afford vegetarian food and have access to a better education.
